Drawing & Talking
We offer access to Drawing and Talking. Drawing and Talking is a safe and gentle therapeutic intervention which allows young people to express and communicate their emotions symbolically. Talking through their drawings in a safe environment can help the individual to make sense of their internal world, whilst at the same time processing emotions and trauma.
This non-directed therapeutic approach is perfect for children aged 5 –18 who:
•suffer from anxiety or stress.
•have suffered trauma.
•are experiencing parental separation/divorce.
•have been adopted/looked after.
•have suffered from the effects of domestic violence.
•have suffered loss or bereavement.
•are struggling or refusing to go to school.
